Easy 4 Ingredient No Knead Bread

This recipe has been used over and over and just never fails! Quick to prepare with only 4 ingredients, flour, salt, yeast and water, and 5 minutes to come together. Soft on the inside and crusty on the outside - we use it for sandwiches, dipping in our favorite dips and most often just a thick slice with ALOT of butter.

My husband is the bread baker at our house and he has taken it upon himself to test this one with sweet and savoury add-ins. They are all good but my favourite is dried onion with Everything Bagel Seasoning. The kids loved the cinnamon raison.

The only hard part of this recipe is the waiting while it rises! Make sure you’re using fresh flour and yeast that isn’t expired to get the best results.

Follow along with the pics to see what each step should look like and click the link at the end to print off your recipe. Even if you’ve never used yeast before you can do this!

1. Mix together the flour, salt and yeast.

2. Add water and incorporate to create a dough.

3. The dough should be covered tightly and allow to rise anywhere from 2-24 hours. This is after it has risen and been taken out to form a loaf.

4. Lift the loaf into the pot, cover and bake for 30 minutes. You can cut a design on top if you wish.

And there you have it. A beautiful loaf perfect for sandwiches or anything your heart desires. Enjoy!
